Get-a-Sketch

I notice that my dog comes up in the top five when I google his name, but I can't even find this site when googling "Dickinson". It's not like I'm expecting to lap Emily Dickinson, Dickinson College, or even Angie or Janice, but I'd like to be somewhere in the first thirty pages. It's time for bribery and shameless pandering to get some link love.

With that in mind, I'm starting up my "Will Draw for Links" program, supplementing and probably replacing the Priceless Postcard series after November. If you have linked to this site, I'd like to thank you by sending you a postcard artwork. We aren't talking a giant flashing 3D popup banner link, and the link can be anywhere... on some page, in your link list, or as part of a posting. Details on what to do are here. Just think, no more wondering whether you are going to win the card. And I wouldn't take it wrong if you were to suggest a theme (still life, landscape, dog, etc.), but I may need to take your card in a different direction based on what I'm trying to work through or what is in our fridge.

I think J1 finds it rather depressing that on googling "jackson's world" my blog is the top entry. I on the other hand (or paw) am rather pleased. J x

Well, Nat, I'm linking to you, but I have won twice already this month.

Oh and tell your wife it's the other Wylie... happens a lot.

On the other hand, if you search for Nat Dickinson your name comes right up. If you search for Dwight Dickinson, in contrast, there is all sorts of competition with illustrious relatives and geneology sites . . . count your blessings.
