Rescues (2015)

We've been volunteering at the Asheville Humane Society, and I've been spending many afternoons doing 12" square studies of the dogs. Some I've given to adopters. I've done some as commissions in exchange for donations to the Humane Society. Others I've just enjoyed doing. I'm not quite sure where this is going, but dogs are extraordinarily familiar and yet entirely alien. And they have absolutely no idea how to pose for a camera.
